CC Revolver Options

Replacing the factory grips with the Guardian Grip on the Smith J frames like the 442 and Ruger LCR makes a world of difference.

I would say a Model 60 would be a fine choice. I dont know that I would want a small J frame in .357 like a 640 but that is just me. If I feel I need that kind of punch, I carry a bigger gun. I would prefer a 642 over a 640 but thats me. I dont shoot my 686 Plus all day with full power loads, I wouldnt want to have to practice with a 640

I sometimes tote a model 638 S&W 38, the humpback model which fits a hip pocket well and doesn't hang up with the shrouded trigger. Even though it's only a 38 it's not a barrel of fun to shoot as it's a very light weight revolver but if ever needed to save my bacon highly doubt would notice recoil.
