I started with a record player for my first e-caller(45 rpm the original CD) and have progressed through a whole gamit of calls, cassetts, CD's, sound cards (Steward & Western Rivers), homemade callers and they all called predators. My all time favorite is the Minaska M-1 Bandit(still use it successfully because of it's size, simplicity, reliabillity and ease of operation). I added a FP CS-24 because of it's light weight and size compared to my Minaska open country. I won a FP Crossfire and use it as a back up because the remote is the same as my CS-24 so I have nothing to relearn when I need to use it.
I've never been happy with the FP remote, hate scrolling and cant read the screen at all without my glasses and don't wear them on a stand. The only reason I like the CS and Crossfire is I can keep all the sounds I use on the Pre-Sets and never have to use the scrolling selection. For sounds I want not on the presets I have a cheatsheet in my bag with the numbers of the sound and I can punch them in the numercal keyboard on the remote.
