got out the other day before the rain came in, walk-in spot, visability was tricky with an east wind chop, 2 common carp and 3 buffs, spawn is just beginning.

Also is a pic of my Bear Whitetail II bow, bought it new in the 80's, it has always been a fishing bow, hundreds of fish taken with it.

My wife and I have been killing the heck out of the carp in the irrigation canals around here lately. We just wait until they get through using one of the canals and then go back and shoot them as the water dries up. Cheap entertainment in the desert.

Nothing like shooting trapped carp! Done it a few times in the midwest after a big rain in the spring. Found some that had been there a few days..their backs when actually sunburned from being out of the water. Me , being the humanitarian I am, put them out of their misery.

My son was home on leave from the 10th Mountain Div. at Ft. Drum NY, he wanted to go out for a half day, we got 21 fish biggest was 22 lbs.

Bowfishing is about is exciting as coyote hunting for me. Nothing like shooting the asian carp out of the air when they jump
