I think that is the third mountain lion shot with a 260/6.5 creedmoor in a month. Was it DRT and what load and distance if you don't mind?

It was a 60 yd shot......DRT.....I have been loading 139 gr Lapua Scenar bullets in the 260 and this a very accurate little load. I'm using some H4350 powder 43.4 gr, I did recover the bullet. I still need to weigh it [beeep]. I'm not sure how much weight it retained.

Great to read your success story. Placing the crosshairs on cougar, sure is a memorable experience. I remember every one well. May you have many more. My favorite Recipes are Cougar Tacos and Bacon Cougar Chile with beans. We are leaving for our yearly Cougar camp 2/5-2/15 and hope to get someone into a very similar picture. Keep after them.
