Any Advice On Which Savage Rifle???

My opinion is to build one yourself. Buy a Stevens action or donor rifle for $250-300, a Shilen or Criterion prefit barrel, and the stock of your choice. A rifle Basix Sav-1 trigger, and youve got a great rifle with quality custom barrel in caluber of your choice.
When barrels can be had prefit to simply screw on, I'd pick a swift...why not? $300 for 1200 shots? Only $0.25/round for barrel. Of course, a 223 will only be $.05/round for the barrel...

I own nothing but Savage firearms. I have 2 FP10s in .223, they are my go to p-dog/coyote rigs.
I built one in 6x45 (6mmx.223) for coyote & Antelope. I just bought a new M11 sporter in .243 and found a M12 in 22-250 used for a steal. I have 5 total in the safe.
For a light coyote rig the M10 predator is at the top. For just a basic gun the Savage M11FNS stock #17400, .223 will fit your requirements.
Scopes:
Vortex Viper
BSA platnum line
BSA SF 30mm "tactical"
Nikon buckmaster.

I also have a savage predator in .223. It has a Nikon Buckmaster sitting on it as well. It has been a very good shooter and my go to coyote rig so far. Shop around and see what shop has the best deals on them. I probably saved 100 dollars 2yrs ago by calling up different stores. Kinda depends on your budget really on what model you actually go with. I don't think you can go wrong with any savage or stevens rifle right now. Just depends on what you like and what features you want in a rifle.

Model 10 Predator MAX1 in .223 has been amazing to me. It will forever out shoot me. I have never been let down by a Savage rifle so far. I've shot them in .223/.17/.22LR/etc and all been amazing

Well here is my ugly Savage.
Started life as a 112 25-06. then I put on a 22-250 1-9 28 inch Pac nor with a short throat and .250 neck. Then I changed that to a .223 Factory barrel , then a .222. that I rechambered from the .223 . Then I decided to try a .221 Fireball . I traded a re-barrel job for 3a 30-06 sporter that I haven't shot yet , but did shoot on the original owners rifle , it is a 3/8 group barrel. . Last week I shot the 25-06 and swapped out for the 22-250 barrel. I may put on the 221 again next week or maby the .222. I like my Savage and with the 5 barrels 3 scopes. Sav rifle basics 2 trigger 3 stocks. ( 1 bedded Factory , I 4 inch wide homemade benchrest , 1 Ultimate varmint . I think the Savage is probably the most versitile rifle made. U know I think I will get another stock and cut a barrel . maby the .222 down to 16 1/2 inch and saw the butt off and make a trick long barrel pistol out of it . Cool 30-06 25-06 super long barrel pistol.
