.223 FMJ for Bobcats ?

I have shot a lot of bobcats with 60 vmax. Most of the time they don't exit. I have had some that left a quarter sized hole that was easily sewn up. If you get a shoulder blade every once in a while you get a blow up.

If I had a choice of FRJ or just let it go, I would just let it go.

Alec, 40 grn bullets have always shot well for me with my Tikka with an 8 twist. Both Nos BT's and VMax. I am sure that they would work well with a 9 twist as well.I use H335 with mine. FMJ would be my last choice. Not because they are illegal, "which they aren't because they are allowed on small game and non-game in Ca. My reasoning is because most ranchers don't like the "skip factor" I can't blame them.

Hey Grant. How tight are they grouping ? Yellowhammer whats FRJ ? And are you mostly going into the ribs on a side profile shot on these cats with the 60 gr Vmax ? And how fast sre you shooting the 60 vmax ? ok thanks
