I've been using the 55's and 60 Vmax on groundhogs out of my 12 twist 22-250 I have shot the 50's and they shoot good but I just switched to the 53gr Vmax with a higher BC than the 55's I haven't shot a hog with them yet but hope to very soon they do seem to be shooting pretty good out of my LRPV barrel

Interesting! Ive read where the 53's...and bullets like the 60's arent suppose to shoot that well in a 1:12 twist. I'll have to try a box of the 53's when I get back home...to see if my slow twister can do any good with them.
the 60's and up is what I hope to use in that Stiller when I get it...
My 12 twist barrel will shoot up to the 64gr Bergers, I've never tried anything under 50 or 0ver 64 in it, I have a 8 twist for the longer stuff and had a 14 twist for the 50's and under.
Sully,
Tim doesn't like me and we seldom agree, But I must back him 100% on this one, If for no other reason than the goofy looking hat in your avatar.
