I had some Fiocchi 204R ammo in 32 & 40g. About half the cases I shot had too much headspace right out of the box, had raised primers on a regular basis so I decided to just break the ammo down, dump the powder and recycle the bullets and brass.
I started out using an inertia hammer puller, but after 75 solid hits on a 4x4 post section, bullet had not moved a bit. Ordered a RCBS collet puller and the bullets were seated so far into the neck the collet could not get a bite on the bullets (40g) so I just went for broke and used some sidecutters and got 'em out. The powder "looked" like cfe223 but I just dumped the powder in the bushes. I did weigh a couple different cases and the powder charges were ~.5g different.
the brass is ok with the exception of the excess HS, primer pockets hold up good but I'm weary of brand myself. I use the brass for foulers and that's about it.
