1st stand the wind was blowing 10, gusting to 15. I did not have high hopes. I switched to Devil Hare, a louder sound, and this nice male bobcat came in to about 40 yds, DRT. 26.2lb male.
Next stand this pair of coyotes came in at about 5 minutes to Baybee Cottontail. They came in together but the female was more cautious and went over the knoll before we could get on her. We killed the male and she ran out of the field when we shot but we could see her in the next field. I selected Pup Distress and she circled around and came back in. She was 3 1/2 feet from the dead male when we shot her, 125yds. DRT.
3rd stand we got busted by a Red fox. It came in down wind and either smelled us or saw us. No shot on it.
These stands were on a new farm we just picked up, first time we have hunted it.
