stands and wide , flat sage brush choked land

Hey Everyone, how would you more experienced callers hunt a wide flat area with limited visibility due to thick approx. 3 foot tall sage brush. Also I made several stands where I was elevated above the sage so I could see good background coverage so I wasnt outlined and used several different sounds (not at every stand ) and had no responces.I know that without one of you being there you really cant say what I did wrong but any input would sure be appreciated.Sure wish that December hunt was sooner my current luck with coyotes is pathetic.I have called in coyotes quite a few times but it sure has been awhile. Some days you can do everything perfect and the critters still don't respond regardless of what you do.

That's why they call it hunting, and every predator caller has experienced their fair share of calling nothing...
