Man where do i start? What a trip it was . Ill do my best at this ok. David im sure u can add to this aswell.
Well it started like this, David(Venatic) picked me up at my house and away we went. Our first stop was in Ruidoso New Mexico, for Davo had som biness to take care of, i had the chance to meet some of his buds, they were all good folks. After his biness was done we were on our way to Quemado New Mexico, where he had a friend that lived there and was able to take us around. Man was it some perty country, we hunted the national forrest and where able to take 3 New Mexico coyotes , one of the three was never found.
We where only able to hunt half a day for the wind was bad, 25mph 0r 35mph or so. So we decided to head toward Globe, AZ. AZ was tuff huntin for us, but we tried our best and were determined to get some coyotes. We had somthing like 37 dry sets there. Not only where the coyotes not working in, but everything was starting to go wrong. First we got stuck, and we had to dig our selfs out. A day later, we had some seat belt problems and just delt with it. I could not seem to keep up with any of my stuff, i lost my shooting stix that David later found, i lost my watch, and my face mask.
We had no luck in Globe AZ. After the PM gathering we left for Tuson Az, Yea buddy ou luck turned around for the good, on our last day of huntin we called in 8 and were able to take five. Felt like we had coyotes come in on every set almost. On one particualr set, i was looking threw my scope when David put the smakedown on one, i saw the bullet impact and it was DRT big time, that was cool to see. Not realy knowing the area and looking on our map trying to find a place to hunt, we did good. Torwards the end of the day we were trying to get one last set in and couldnt seem to find a place to hunt, time was running out, we found a small dot of propery on the map that we could hunt, jump out of the car before it even came to a stop and literealy ran to get set up. The sun was in our face and was setting quick, but it didnt stop us. We had a coyote come in 15min ito the call, let me tell u, this coyote did not have a chance in the world getting by us. We both shoot it at the same time, i only herd my gun go off, and he only herd his gun go of, it just so happened that we pulled the trigger at the same exact time, man o man. Well we left the call running and 15 min later another coyote comes in and i put it down. We had a strong finish.
In four and a half days we made 50 sets.
We called in 17, and were able to take 8.
I forgot to mention we had a flat on the last day while the huntin was good, but we changed to a spare and away we where. David and i had some good laughs the whole time. Thanks David for a good time, I wont ever forget this trip. Next time i will have to sleep with my shooting muffs .

PM gathering was great, I want to thank averyone that helped put this together, for i had a good good time. I had the chance to meet some good folks there, Everyone that donated prizes, THANK YOU very much . The egg shoot was a blast, i think its amazing that some can hit a egg at 200 yards, and 300 yards is umbeleiveabe . Im looking forward to next years gathering. Again thanks to all.
Enjoy some pics

Billy summed it up pretty good but I will add a few details that he may have chosen to omitt. First was the fact that we Both snored its just that being older I am much more practiced and was able to send him grabbing toilet paper to stuff in his ears pretty quick. The next point was that the reason we did not recover that 3rd New Mexico coyote was because instead of shooting the one that circled in behind Billy at 20yds he shot one 250yds straight down a huge canyon and I told him you shot it down there you can go get it. We also found out that if the wind is blowing 35mph that coyotes hunting in a field 500yds or so away cannot hear your call upwind but will make your ears ring trying. We had a few stands that were messed up before we got started one we busted a large group of elk and they ran across the area we were going to call then two stands later we had just started calling and a very big cargo plane flying treetop came right over our heads which was totally unexpected in the mountains of New Mexico. . But for the most part things went pretty good altough I am still trying to figure out how you loose your watch if you never take it off. Also when we had our flat after changing the tire we looked around and commented that it looked like a good place to call so we pulled off the road and walked about 1/4 mile over a ridge and proceded to call in 3 coyotes so sometimes you CAN make lemonade from lemons.

Varmithntr, Don't feel bad I knew that he was posting a slide show and I was looking at those two pictures and saying where are the rest of them. Knock'emdown Billy is already practicing for next year he brought eggs to the range the other day but alas most of them went home with him unbroken to be eaten for breakfast.

After i stuffed my ears it was payback time .
As far as shooting the coyote down the canyon, i needed the excercise .
Good times it was.

Billy,
I boned it @ 200yds...Larry (Genesis) hit with his AR. He was sitting right next to me. It was fun trying though!

Dave,
I guess actually practicing to hit an egg would probably have helped . May give that a try before next year's event
