Howa Axiom 22 250

I bought one because I thought it looked cool. It shot well under an inch with all seven break-in shots using cheap ammo and off the hood of the truck. I killed a triple with it the first trip out. Cool, accurate, and lucky. Sako style extractor, but longer. Decent trigger. Well made.

Good stuff Nahuatl....that,s what I wanted to hear, just wonderd what the guys that had this gun thought about it....how it shoots.....how they like the stock compared to a regular styled stock.....if the pistol grip is an asset?

Les Johnson seems to have good luck with his....pulls off some pretty long shots too!!

The pistol grip is easy on the hand if you stand with your rifle muzzle down. I believe this is the only pistol grip bolt action I've seen. It takes a bigger gun case than other rifles. It doesn't have a detachable magazine, which some guys want. Mine is all aluminum stock and it weighs a lot.
