What was the heaviest coyote you or your hunting partner have ever harvested?

Myself-47 pounds....Pennsylvania

I am just curious. Our Pennsylvania coyotes average 35-43 pounds. Please give your state or the state it was harvested.

I have heard of Eastern coyotes weighing as much as 50+pound and 60+pounds but have never seen any up close....Hern

In Nov 1990 I shot a 53 pound male coyote several of the coyotes that year weighted in at 48-50 pounds.
I think that as the population increases the weight decreases now most of my coyotes weight 37-42 pounds.

My first yote was 48 lbs. It was also my biggest. I've only had one since that came anywhere near it at 45 lbs. These are from eastern Massachusetts.

I killed a male in Ky. a couple of years ago that weighed in at 55lbs. Most have been in the 40 - 45 lb range. That big boy fell victim to an AR-15 Elite. Could have sifted flour thru him.

A 56 pound female is the largest I've weighed, although there are several in this pic from last season that aproach that.
I do know of one that weighed 68 pounds.
