Today I put in my applications for Elk, Deer, Moose, Antelope, Big Horn Sheep, and Mountain Goats. I have lots of preference points for sheep, goats, and trophy area for antelope. $600.00 bucks down the drain. Of course I'll get most of it back with preference points or tags. WOOO HOOOO. I am already excited!!

My 1 non-resident Bull Elk appl. is approaching $500 all by itself.
 
Colorado recently upified their out of state tag prices. I applied for an either sex elk tag and it cost $33.25. I think the DOW really ticked off a lot of non-residents. Sorry about that on Colorado's behalf!!! If they don't get this CWD thing figured out, Colorado is gonna lose even more non-resident hunters! Check the Colorado Division of Wildlife website. Yesterday officials had to kill 150 deer to test them. There will be lots and lots more killed and tested of both deer and elk before the season starts.
