Me and a buddy went out to my 800 yard range to do some longer range 400-800 yard shooting at my steel squares. I took my 222 and 25-06. MY friend was using a 30-06. ANyways, we just crest over the hill to where we shoot and I see 2 yotes bust out of some thick cover/sagebrush. I had my .222 and lined up on the closest one to me which was 138 yards, confirmed by nikon 800. He stopped and did the famous last look and by that time, the 55g NBT smacked into his shoulder. Right after that, I heard my friends 30-06 go off and see his coyote hit the dust. He hit it on a dead run at 200 yards with a 180g AB. I've had this happen to me before, go out to my shooting spot and see yotes bust out and not have a gun ready. Well today we were ready. Heres me with the .222
