Well guys and gals, the Predator Masters Globe Egg Shoot gun by Dtech is finished except for some final testing.

Mike sent me some pictures of it so I thought I'd tease you a little.

Mike will also be building another rifle at the banquet that we will have an online auction for, but it will be a more "normal" rifle without all the bells and whistles.

Mike is sending me a complete list, but basically this Egg Shoot rifle is "loaded" with about every option you could think of.

sir Frog, since as I understand it, your county does not allow AR's, I will be willing to help a fellow pm'er out and keep it for you while you are in your home ground. I promise to love and nurture it.

I'm thinking I would just keep it as my "away" gun. As in away down south.

Yellowhammer beat me to the offer. I could hold it for you though. Utah is closer to Canada than Texas so you wouldnt have to travel as far to see it. I would even be willing to send pics of it with the coyotes it kills.

Looks like I am entering to try and win it though. Will see how good my walmart clearance $250 remington ADL does with my cheap Bushnell Banner 4-12x40 scope. Found an excellent load for it.

Here's the lowdown on this beauty:

Barrel: Olympic Arms, broach-cut, national match, 4 lands, 4 groves, 1:8 twist stainless steel barrel, fluted under the handguard as well as out to the muzzle.

The barrel is coated with Norrell's moly-resin, flat desert tan on the exposed portion and flat black under the handguard.

Dtech integral 4-port compensator. The compensator allows you to "see" the bullet strike, without the additional noise of a standard break.

Chamber: SAAMI minimum .223 Remington.

Handguard: White Oak Armament, free float, ventilated, has a sling stud and is done in Real Tree, hardwoods camo.

Upper and lower eceivers: DPMS forged and hard-coat anodized. These receivers were camoed as a set. The upper receiver is a standard height, flat-top with picatinny rail mount, ejection port cover and forward assist.

Butt-stock: standard A-2, with Dedicated Tecnologies logo on one side and the Predator Masters logo on the other, along with "Globe Egg Shoot 2007"

Trigger: Jewell, two-stage adjustable.

It will come with a Molle, discrete assault rifle case in digital camo.

The replacement price on this package is over $1750.00.

I'll be at Ben Avery on Saturday warming up for the 2007 Cactus Classic. If you want to meet me up there, I'll bring a "hunter class" 30-338. The muzzle brake will take care of anything out to 100 yards. Everybody wins! If the wheels come off the wagon on Saturday I will skip the rest of the monthly match and come down to the casino to gamble. Can anyone say "wedding Crasher"???
