What are the color of eyes when you are using a red light including a cow and deer.I dont want to make a mistake

Southernbred , to me you cannot tell the diff in color with a red lens ,besides you should ever shoot anything until you know what it is by looking at its body. The more you do it you will be able to tell what is coming by the distance between the eyes,or just from how it reacts from your presents.
Just remember never shoot till you know what your shootin,it will save you a lot of heartache.

All the eyes you shine the eyes into will shine red. The width is a dead give away on a cow, the deer and sheep etc, is a little more difficult...you MUST make sure before the shot.If you are not completely sure...don't shoot....Randy

a good friend of mine was hunting one night for bobcat seen eye's and shot found out the hard way that his lab got lose never shout at just the eye's
