Hungry Birds

Im new to the typing part of hunting but I like this site. My question is how many of you have been swooped on by large hungry predatory birds? Ive almost lost my hat 2 or 3 times now during the last year of off and on night calling.

Lots of times! We had several screech owls bombing us while calling from some round bales last year. You have to watch out for those big horned ones. They'll scare the crap out of ya'! No furry hats!

I've had my hat taken off a couple of times, Swooped a lot..the other night I had 3 barn owls circling..makes it exciting...Randy

The birds can be unnerving if you aren't on top of your game.....but what about those spring does thrashing you when the think ol' Wylie's got their babies? That's when it get's interesting.......
Guess I could hunt out of the back of the truck..........but then that only let's me sight in on those coty coyotes!!!!lol!!!!!!!.

I call them in more than anything. Lets see i called in 1 owl, numerouse hawks, 1 eagle, 1 falcon and several crows that came in to the predator calls.
