woodpecker @ night?

anybody have any luck with the woodpecker @ night? (JS 512) target - coyotes n TX.

The woodpecker call works great for either night or day, especially in brushy country and more especially at dusky dark. I learned the hardway to keep the caller volume down as low as possible during calling. Too much volume scares them off. Make it just loud enough so you know they can hear it, but not too loud as to be unnatural. I always put the tape caller right under a tree or bunch of brush.

yes, the woodpecker works really good at night,the bobcats really like it too.give it a try and you'll love it.

TSC... the woodpecker really works well at night. It will call cats , fox and coyotes. I use it a lot where they have been called quite a bit and they are used to hearing a rabbit squall, kinda' changes the menu a bit.When they get close, turn it off and lip squeak. Randy
