First off, hear me out while I thank each and every one of you that made this hunt another success for Predator Masters. Everyone from you members back here throwing logs in the furnace, to those that attended....to those that pitched in with help and prize donations...many many thanks. Far too many to name individually. You guys... ARE... Predator Masters.

Cactus Rat met us at the Casino and showed us around Wednesday when we pulled in. Thanks Tom.

I had the honors on separate occasions of hunting with Gerald Stewart, Crapshoot, Cactus Rat, Lynn Haas, Tony Tebbe and Weasel.
Never killed a thing except time but had the time of my life doing it.

I watched Crapshoot shoot a bobcat out of Gerald Stewarts lap. I still don't know how he avoided Gerald. (just kidding)...that boy CAN shoot.!
Tony and I were calling from a cliff that we crawled ourselves down onto, and focused on a large cave opening we hoped a Cougar would peek out of. No cougar showed but a Grey came in behind us and got within 3 feet of me trying to get to the caller (Tony)
Tony saw the shadow indicating something behind us...we both spun around and stared the thing in the eye before it fled.
He called it back but it landed less then 2 feet from the barrel off my gun so I just pulled the trigger off hand......and missed.

I learned a few things hunting with Gerald Stewart that will come in handy and was thrilled to be able to hunt with him.

Lynn Haas (Elkeholic) ...let me tell you this guy can HUNT. He don't need any calls, in fact I swiped the one he had used on his cougar. Lynn can read things out there that most don't even know exist. He amazes me. And I'm not talking about the two yotes you saw dancing in front of me either Lynn.

And then there's Weasel. Don't let his wig fool you. He's a helluva guy. Good shooter. I haven't seen someone shoot free standing as good as him since John Wayne tipped over.
Congrats on the Will Craig Award partner.

I managed to snap off 50 or so photos while down there. Rather then post them all in here I dumped em into an easy share album.
Here; River's Globe Pics Click on play and they will cycle through for you.

Thanks again to all.

Jim , it was an honor to hunt with you. Your welcome to share my stand or camp anytime. I promise i'll leave the gun in the truck next time. Atleast for the first stand.

Hey River, nice pics you got there what a way to show the people who couldn't attend the awesome beauty that the desert can hold. It was a pleasure meeting you (along with everyone else) no matter what Redfrog has said about you. Anyway, maybe next time Redfrog will be comfortable enough to hunt without his baby-sitter and give us a chance to hunt together.

Don't listen to Crapshoot Jim, he full of...well just that. He won't ever leave his gun in the truck or you a chance to shoot a dog.

I really enjoyed that day with you and Lance. I feel like a heel not being able to keep the Predator Hog from shooting everything that came in. Maybe next time.......

Jim,

Thanks for the honor of meeting you my friend. You sir are a predator master and we are merely following along in your footsteps. I hope that I get to hunt with you sometime in the future.

WOW! RR thanks for the compliments and I also had a great time hunting, and the after hunt activities! Three days are way to short to spend hunting with the likes of all you guys. It seemed there was just not enough time hunt with all the folks I wanted to. The cat aside, it was hard hunting this year on the reservation, but getting to hunt with Jim, Weasel, my brother and Steve made up for the call shy coyotes.

Gerald Stewart, you really made my trip with that presentation of your Dad, you, and your family. Talk about the Circle of Honor, this family owns it in my view. I will treasure my Johnny Stewart Belt buckle all the more. To me Jim, Brent, and Randy put together one great hunt and banquet, from the food to the entertainment, and raffle. With Byron's presentation, Jay's hilarious video footage, Geralds fine presentaion, and the food, I left fat and happy.

Thanks for the memories

Lynn
