Wyoming Prarie dogs

I was thinking about tripping up to Casper or Gillette to do some shooting.

Could anyone help me find my way with suggestions of where to go on the BLM?

Any place closer to Cheyenne? I know they have them there, but one fellow told me "he would have to kill me if he told me..??

most ranchers north of Gillette will let you shoot them if you stop in and ask. I would tell you exact locations but then I would "have to kill you."
 
Get a map showing BLM and other public land, do a little scouting and I bet you'll find some easier than you think. Look for their prefered habitat and you're bound to find some before too long.
 
There are many places where guys hit em hard up there. I would try to connect up with a land owner to make the most out of it.

I used to think you couldn't put a dent in a good praire dog population-I was wrong.
