Yellowhammer Moderator Registered: 02/07/02 Posts: 16690 Loc: Huntington, Texas	I am new to the 6.8 SPC, but have used the Hornady Black with 110 grain V-max and the SSA with 115 grain HPBT. Both were used on the hunt this week. I had some issue with misfires on the Hornady Black factory ammo, with light primer strike, so have to figure out the problem. Bowhntr6pt Die Hard Member II Registered: 04/09/13 Posts: 1122 Loc: Central Florida	If you reload, Hornady 120gr SST with AA2200. Death on contact, excellent terminal performance on deer, hogs, and coyotes.

igor Die Hard Member Registered: 11/20/13 Posts: 511 Loc: amarillo texas	I've been using a cheap Speer 100 gr. for about 5 years and recently switched to the 120 gr. sst with 27.5 gr. of AA2200 with good accuracy. 6mm06 PM senior Registered: 07/31/05 Posts: 9358 Loc: USA	My son handloads the 120 SST’s and has good performance with those. I recommended that bullet to him after reading numerous posts here on PM to the effectiveness of the SST. The 6.8 is a great hog cartridge from an AR platform in my opinion.
