It's fun. You can see the vital area door swing open when you make a hit. I place it all over the range I'm a member of. We can shoot out to 1000 yards. However, In a hunting situation we shoot 300 feet max.
 
A friend built us one with a swinging flag plate in the breadbasket...flag swings it's a dead coyote...I also have an AR500 bobcat that lives in the truck. If I miss a shot...out comes the cat...I know it's me before I even send it...

Don't get them on alert before calling!
On a calm day, drive SLOW!!
The sound of gravel hitting wheel_wells is a dead give away.

Keep quite mufflers on your vehicle.
Never slam doors.
