Great shot! The 22 Mag seems to punch above its weight class.

Are pigs not a damage nuisance where you are? Just curious why the sow with little ones got a free pass. Seems like a breeder female would be worth culling over a boar/dry female.

I don't usually shoot sows and never one with pigs or pregnant. I am hunting on leased timber company land so crop damage is a none issue here. I enjoy hunting the hogs and am not out to exterminate them as might be the case if I were helping a farmer or something like that. They are all fair game 24/7 365 days a year but I choose to hunt the boars.
