Choke selection for buckshot

I need help with a choke selection for shooting #4, F, BBB
I watched a hundred reloading utube videos, bought 3 manuals.
I have used Longshot, Blue dot, 3 different wads, Mylar wraps
and my patterns are terrible at 45 yards! I am using a Browning
A5 with just the investor system. I've tried factory chokes
from improved cylinder to extra full. The extra full is the
best but not good. Do you guys think a good aftermarket choke
soil make the difference or should I buy another shotgun with
a 3" chamber, back bored with a longer forcing cone ?

Thanks
Mark

Finding the right choke takes a little effort. The original Invector choke barrels should have a bore diameter of around .727" - .729". I would buy a good extended choke with a starting point of about .050" constriction with a long parallel section. So something from Kick's or one of the other good custom choke makers with around .680" - .670" inside diameter. Depending upon constriction and the maker that choke is usually marketed as either a buckshot or a turkey choke. This is a starting point but generally should get you in the ballpark.
