I have had mine since about 1969, with 199 factory rounds left.

Overall, good performance for a rimfire. I shot lot's of stuff with it.

By about 1974, Remington stopped production of them, most likely due to slow sales.

There is a rimfire-to-centerfire conversion kit available, known as the 5mm Craig.

I had one converted to centerline was a neat gun.it was a sub moa shooter.
