I didn’t want anything to do with AR’s because I thought it was a waste of pressure = velocity going down the gas tube. Easy follow up shots without leaving the target racking the bolt and the grip design is why I like them now. My 24” 204 is a nice little gun.

i did not know nm was that far down in the black hole. that really sucks. hope you guys can succeed in keeping them.

our queer governor is pushing very hard for that here also. way to many liberals have invaded this state.
i'm afraid it's just a matter of time.

theyre making noise here in michigan too. thankfully the house/senate is so close even though they flipped, so i dont think theres the political capital for a full scary-looking-bangstick ban.

she did say red flag laws were on her todo list, universal backgrounds, and some kind of safe storage laws (which im sure will turn out to be absolutely redonkulus once we see any proposals).

shes term limited and with a D run house/senate for the first time in 40 years. so its gonna be a long 4 years here potentially. i think michigan is about to find out how much political capital the democrat party wants to spend on pusing the adgenda here before Gretch gets moved up to washington.

The supreme court screwed the pooch and flipped on the lib vote last election. These radical libs will laugh at the supreme court when they back up old rulings about guns. About like marijuana federal laws. Just a suggestion.

thats the part that makes me a little more copasetic though... with as strong as a 2A stand the SCOTUS has taken... yes its a fight coming... but one we stand to come out strong on in the courts.

Yeah, there are about 10 anti-gun bills in the House already - from banning semi-autos and standard capacity mags to making the possession of suppressors and other NFA items a felony. Most of these have been posed in the past and shut down, but the old blue dog democrats from ranching country lose a little influence every year. At some point I worry that the big city commies will just overwhelm the good ol' boys.

To add to this, there is a CZ 527 .204 Ruger take-off barrel for sale on Saubier right now. Barrel swap and you're ready to go!

It has been that way in California for a long time. The 60% of Californians that live in big cities and along the coast out number the 40% of people that live in 80% of the state.

Most all of the schools and colleges in this country are teaching our kids to be liberals. It wasn't the good ol' boys that voted for Biden and all of the democratic governors and mayors into office.

Same. A very small geographical part of this state controls the other 90%. We're on the verge of losing ARs, losing suppressors, and getting the longest firearms waiting period in the nation because of it. For a long time the good ol' boy democrats from ranch country held off the extremists, but those days are passing us by.

Bud's has four different models of Savages in 204 in stock.

I'm another non-fan of the AR for predator hunting. I won mine at the Egg Shoot and will say that is an awesome shooter, a 20P that will shoot tiny groups. I've tried very hard to like it and have killed coyotes with it. It doesn't handle well for me, I tried a shorter, lighter uppper, different scopes, different combs.and while it fits it is awkward to get in action, noisy, way too many things to do to shoot it, noisy and hard to pack. I've made single slings, biathalon style slings, back scabbards. It just.not as fun to be in the field with.

Just received an AR upper from WOA two days ago, Wanting to make that my main calling rifle. Just hope we don't lose our rights.
