Pan cover

I was wandering if you could use a coffee pot filter for a pan cover.Lay it flat and cut about 1 inch off the outside diameter woth scissors.

As long as they are scent free why not, I've used nylon screen, waxed paper, paper towel, my favorite is linden/basswood tree leaves I picked them up on a damp morning and put them in quart freezer bags and kept them in the freezer, so they didn't mold or rot.

I’ve used the drink coasters you get at restaurants and bars. Course you might want to ask the waitress for a nice, new one, with no stains(and scent)

I have used them for the past four years with good results. Ran out of waxed paper one day and tried the coffee filter and just never bought anymore waxed paper.
