Male Grey tonight

2nd stand tonight I called in this nice male Grey to Eastern Cottontail at about 2-3 minutes. He came in hard, I bark stopped him at about 45-50 yds and center punched him. Very nice hide, no exit.
Next stand got busted by a hard charger that came in within 30 seconds to Vole Squeaks. It popped out at 20 yds right beside me from behind. Could not tell if it was a coyote or a fox it came/left so fast. I'm sure it saw me when I switched from scanner to rifle.
Rain has shut me down now.

Awesome! It’s been raining here mostly all day, and for the better part of the last week or so. Work was anticipating some potential ice in the Roanoke valley area tonight.
