Start of a new season

Went out this morning for the first time after, Mr Coyote. Set up on the north side of a contour strip of combined corn. Wind was from the SE. I sat for about 20 minutes waiting for it to get light enough to call. Started out with a invitation howl on my horn howler from UltraMag. Waited couple minutes them went into distress sound on the E-caller. Went thru the sounds, and it seemed it was going to be a bust. Ended the set with pup distress, turned up the volume some more. 3 minutes into the sound here come a nice looking coyote form the SE, running with the wind. he stops at the fence line, about 125 yds. 45gr HP from the 22-250, and down goes Mr. Coyote. A nice big male. Now its back to fixing my combine that broke down on Monday. As always, thanks for reading my post.

Thanks for taking the time to post your hunt lockrotor! When I was using a 22-250, I too used a 45 grain bullet. Tried various other weights, but settled on the 45 gr HP for tipping over coyotes
