Bought a box by accident. But figured I got them, may as well try them. Its an 85 grain Nosler for my 2506. Any of you guys tried them? Should be smokin fast if you run them up on the high end of the load charts.

I bought these by mistake but thought it might be fun to work up a load. I have several different powder choices. Which worked best for you?

Another most accurate bullet in my rifle only it is a 25-204(257 Kimber clone). I run them right at 3000 fps. Although I've been loading them in this for 17yrs and the 250-3000 before that, I haven't killed much with them as I shoot 100gr Partitions for deer and 75gr Vmax for coyotes. If I ever get a antelope tag it will be in use plus it goes when javelina and big cats are on the menu

I had a 25-06 Sendero with a 26" barrel once upon a time.

Without tracking down my notes, I remember getting the 85's to 3600, 100's to 3400, and the 115's to 3200.

The 1000 yard Benchrest matches at one of the clubs I shot at, had a stock gun class. I found the Sendero on the used rack at Gander Mountain, so I bought it to shoot that class.

Ended up setting the range record with it, with a 4.XXX" group, with H-4831-SC & 115 Bergers.

I think H-4350 speed is a good place to start with the 85's.

57g of R#19 was my load also, the speer 87 shot the same load very very well. Strange barrel liked .060 bullet jump! Win brass and win primer made the accuracy.

I have a box of 100 in Nosler 85 gr. BTs but have not tried them. I have something around 700 Speer 87 gr. TNTs and have been shooting them instead.

With the 87s, RL17 has been my go to thus far. On coyotes it’s pure “Deflation Nation”!

I've used both 4831 and Rel 17. Very good accuracy was about the
same with either. However, a 3600fps load with Rel 17 spiked to way
over 3700fps when it got warmer, and not THAT much warmer.
