Anybody have any experience with Bloodhounds? We got one today, 9 week old female. My son wants to train it to hunt antler sheds and help track deer we’ve shot. I’ve trained and worked a German Shepherd before for multi purpose police use and we had bird dogs when I was younger but that’s about it. Any tips or suggestions appreciated.

Always thought I would like to have a bloodhound. Never did get one though.
I don't know about training either but wish you good luck on it.
I will say that being a hound it will most likely be a lot harder of head than the Shepard. Still patients will be the key.
