Would love to hear some loads you guys are using for these combo's and what twist you are using.

70g tnt, ballistic tip, 69g Berger, 70g Nosler Varm

87g Vmax

Not 100% apples to apples but pretty darn close, I shoot 70gr Nosler BT's in my 6CM with 44gr RL16 out of a SA Rem700 build with a Proof 9tw 20in barrel and the very first group down the pipe went .205 That load is fairly mild and out of a 20in tube the velocity isn't blazing fast but RL16 is extremely stable powder in all temps and Nosler BT's just always seem to shoot very well.

As I'm sure you well know the 6.5x47 Lapua is an exceptionally accurate cartridge so I'm sure the 6mm version will be just as good for you. If you're looking for all out speed RL16 may not be the best powder but if you're looking for a crazy good temp stable consistent powder with pretty good speed then RL16 will be a good choice.

I shoot 75gr Vmax w/H4350 in my 6-284 and they shoot really well in that but that's not nearly as comparable to your 6x47 Lapua as a 6CM is. I know someone that says, the 6.5x47 Lapua wins matches, the 6.5 Creedmore is that Walmart version of it. I always thought that was pretty funny.

These are my 6x47 Lapua loads in a 21 1/2" long 14" twist, all moly plated, so take that into consideration.

I have an old lot of GI-322 powder running 36.4 grains with 70 BT's at 3500, with 7 1/2 primers in Lapua brass.

42 grains of Varget with 70 BT"s at 3700, with 7 1/2's in Lapua brass.

I did a bunch of experimenting with Lapua 308 large rifle primer brass with the shoulder pushed back, and necked down.

In head to head comparisons, the LRP slightly out shot the SRP brass.

Go to load is 40 grains of Varget at 3500, with Fed 210's in the 308 brass.

41.5 grains of R-15 at 3625 with 70 BT's, with the 210's in Lapua brass shot pretty well too.
