Springfield Armory value

A guy at work has a brand new in box,UNFIRED
Springfield Armory Ronin in 45acp Full size Operator
Wanting to sell it for close to retail as he can get,think he said it was 800.00
I know once it leaves store the value drops,
Any ideas what a real valve would be

I have never seen a gun drop in price at this point in time.
Looks like NEW at the store they run $800 to well over that.
See if he will drop it $100 and grab it.

Havent seen a Springfield 1911 on the shelf in months other than their cheaper Mil Spec model. $700 sounds fair

By the time i saw him again to make a offer it was sold.
But a day later i saw a Kimber 2 tone twin to the Springfield on sale at Dunhams sporting good,for 800.00,then they send me a coupon to but it for 750.00
So it fallowed me home. I have yet to fire it
