I'll be posting some pics of some active Red den sites. I have observed over the yrs. This den site. The female was killed on a nearby highway when the kits were 5wks old. 5 wks old kits are weaned. After she was killed. The male took over her duties rearing their kits.

Some pics are Earthen dens site. Some are field drive culvert tubes.

I used to hunt Fox for years. Coyotes eventually took over and moved the fox closer to homesteads. I loved to watch the fox hunt for field mice. I don't shoot Fox anymore, but I will catch one in a snare and release it. Great pictures.

Thanks so much for sharing those. I love those little red buggers. I never intentionally target one, I save my bullets for the coyotes.
