Between the Red Fox, coyote & wolf;

I view the Red Fox as a "singular" canine. Specficially because it's only time in life. Spent with it's parents is short in duration. As when they are quite young spending time with their mother learning survival. They leave the den at a very early age from what I have seen.

Coyotes being more of a "family group" canine. Some refer to it as a "pack canine". I agree with that to an extent. Only when spending time in their family unit. Or off on their own. As they travel with other single nomadic coyotes. Some of which are not related, some being litter mates. Otherwise the coyote does not fall into the category as a true pack canine, IMO. Coyote yearlings will spend much of their 1st year. Living on their parents territory.

Wolves are indeed a true pack canine. Even as an adult. They live among other blood related wolves. Rarely accepting a non-related wolf into their pack.
