Greetings, I am a new member here.

I own a farm in central Missouri, and here at the home farm we raise sheep for the meat market. We had several guardian dogs until they passed, and this year we are losing lambs to coyotes. It's a problem, and this morning they killed a favorite, and a valuable one.

Is anyone from Missouri? We are surrounded by forest, and the fields are about 180 acres. Would love to talk to someone about hunting here. I have little experience, and have never called one in.

Just thought I might inquire here.

Welcome aboard Brian.
If the terrain allows, trapping is more effective, 24/7.
Maybe entice a local trapper to setup around your property, or learn it yourself.

Thank you.

I have a neighbor farmer south of me 4 miles that traps. But he has enough lines to run, that he never is able to get up here.

I have a construction business also, and never had time to trap. Since our guard dogs are gone now, the coyotes have taken over again.

I'd bet there are plenty of boys in Mo. that would be happy to help with your coyote problem and be more than happy to have you go with them.
