Went by myself tonight. Called and killed this one in about 2 minutes, Cagie Cottontail. Another one that fell in the ditch. Can't seem to shoot one lately that doesn't end up in a field ditch. Don't know what is with these ditch diggers-big male.

They seem to love the ditches lately.

Yeah, the last 3 I've killed all ended up in the ditch. We've had so much rain that all the ditches have a lot of water in them as well. I'm too old to get down in those ditches to drag them out. Not sure I could get back out by myself.

If it isn't broke, don't fix it. As long as they end up dead vs educated, it's all good. Good job on another.

Lol, I reckon they won't be telling any of their kin not to hang around ditches.

Like Weekender said, just proves the Earth is flat. They run out across the horizon and just drop off.

I still think you need telescopic stick with a loop of wire on the end for getting them out of the ditch.

Yeah, or better yet, just don't shoot them where they fall in a ditch. Trouble is lots of times they come right down the ditches or stop just before crossing a ditch. I need better shot selection I think.
