Just open the video on youtube and copy the address. Then go to PM and switch to Full Screen reply. You will see a little screen that looks like a TV at the top, click on that and then click on Youtube video. It will give you a box at the top where you paste the address.

It should look like this with the brackets on each end. You're missing some stuff in there which means you must not have pasted the link into the correct box. I had to put the brackets in the line below so that it wouldn't open the youtube link. I will see if I can figure out what you did.
I think you put it in the right box, but you have to open up the youtube link like you are going to watch the video and then paste that address into the youtube box that I mentioned in the previous post.
