It's been a long hiatus with my wife being in the hospital for 10 days and then her recovery. She got a good report from the Dr. yesterday, and so went on a short little hunt tonight and took this Old Boy. Range was 220 yds.
He was in our downwind, so it didn't appear he was coming any closer. Glad I was able to close the deal on him. Here is a picture of him loaded up on the Razor's on the way back to the truck. He was about as fat and well furred out as any we see here.
No, I gave him to someone who wanted to tan the hide. I'm not sure if he weighed him or not, but I figure somewhere around 42 lbs. give or take a little.
