Went back to the river today with my son Levi for a couple of hours after dropping my daughter off for her part time pre school class (12:30 - 3:30) at church.
We had went here Friday for his first fishing outing ever, but had no luck. Returned today and our luck had changed. We ended up catching 4 fish, but only managed to land 3, with one throwing the hook at the bank.
The first fish he caught, was the best one of the day. Nice smallmouth that probably went about 2 lbs.
The second fish was another smallmouth, almost as big as the first fish but not quite as good. No photo of it though, Levi dropped it before I could snap a photo and it flopped back in the river.
Fish #3 was another smallmouth, but it was a little thing.
Levi will turn 3 in a couple months, but he's pretty good at reeling the fish in already. We had a blast to say the least.
