I'm planning on staying a couple of weeks, I am already starting to put solar power and a propane furnace in the van, no need for a camp ground. I just might add the trailer and bring the canoe as it looks like there is some lake fishing in the area also. Hopefully my BinL can make it and we can cast and blast our way back to SD and meet my sister for some pheasant hunting.

It would be nice to keep it in feb so a guy good make convention and do some coyote hunting at same time. Is there a predator tournament also going on at the same time ? If not maybe a good idea. Marty

There was a lot of interest in moving it to the fall to improve calling and response. We'll give it a try.

PM does not sponsor calling contests. We host a convention in good hunting location and encourage members to team up and enjoy the opportunities available.

You can coyote hunt Elko in September. It is far enough north that if you wait until Feb. there is no telling what you are going to get for weather and more than likely the weather won't be good.
We hunted the area early October and if you left any water outside it was frozen by the next morning.

elko nv. would be so great. lived in Nevada for 2 years and had a lot of fun in the high desert.
