Here is the 2016 Predator Masters Egg Shoot Story. First off was the safety briefing to go over the range rules as well as the egg shoot rules.

The eggs look real small at 150 yards. If you look you can see the rack just right of center.

We started with 18 shooters listed below with the caliber they were shooting. In the first round everyone in the group is shooting at the same time. They get 5 minutes to shoot 5 shots. It should also be mentioned that if an egg breaks regardless of who shoots it, the owner of the egg gets credit for a hit. In the first round it went.

3rd Group - In this group the stand was hit knocking 4 of the 5 eggs off so 4 of the people advanced to the next round. In a show of good sportsmanship though, the shooters that advanced tried to hit the remain egg with their remaining shots to advance the only shooter whose egg did not fall. Unfortunately they did not succeed.

Since only 2 people hit the egg, a shoot off for 3rd place was required by the others that had shot in the third round but not hit their egg. The same rules applied, one shot in seconds and only 1 shooter at a time shot.

The first place winner received a very nice AR in 20 Practical built by our sponsor Ritch of Ritchs Precision Guns. Thanks Ritch!!
Great shooting to all the ladies and gentlemen that participated.
I believe that none of the top three shooters had never placed before in a previous egg shoot. We also had a lot of new shooters this year which was nice to see. It is a fun time for all that shoot and watch!!
Here are a few more pictures of the day at the range.
