Congratulations Viper!

Bobcats are nuisance wildlife in Tucson and the city folk there need lots of help!

There are 9 species of predators and furbearers near Tucson. Where there are rocks, there are many fox, and they are very attracted to fox sounds. Would love to see you get at least a trifecta (coyote, bobcat, AZ grey fox) before returning to Indiana. thumbup

First day of hunting for me in Tucson, started out yesterday but the truck deįided it didn't need a brake pad so I spent yesterday morning installing brake pads in the front end.

I only made four stands but called in a nice dark female. She hung up at about sixty yards, I could see her legs and her tail swish back and forth. I couldn't get enough of her in the scope to use the rifle barrel, so switched sounds to mouse distress she booked on in and when she got ālmost to the caller ( 30 long paces ) I dropped her with ān ounce of NP BB's from the 16 ga barrel. I skinned her out, fleshed ānd put her on a boat before we left the spot.

The sun had gone behind the mountain not dusk but rather darker than in the afternoon, on the way out saw a deer, herds of jackrabbits running in front of the truck and a bobcat ran across the road about a mile from where I got the coyot

Well, I done done it now... hurt my foot last week and it hasn't healed back up yet. I get to work at 8 AM and by 9:30 I have to sit down to rest it. I don't see traipsing around the desert being a good idea until my foot is healed up. Still looking forward to the festivities, but likely won't get out to hunt this year.
