Anybody loading H414 powder in a 22 250

It gives me great accuracy and velocity in my 220 Swift even in cold weather. Buy a smaller quantity or ask some one to give you a small amount and try it first.

It's the same powder is why.....

I shot 760 for years in a 22-250 with 55 grain Ballistic Tips.

I wouldn't hesitate buying it even in flush times.....

I still use 760. My most accurate loads are with 760.

H414 will get you the very highest velocities with accuracy with the 55's.

We killed a butt load of coyotes in the late 70's through the early 90's with Win 760(h414).

Typical load will start off in some rifles in the 39.0g area while others will go 41.0g. Every rifle, loto of powder is different so be careful.

There is a strange thing that we found with the Nosler 55g Combined Technology bullets. The coating reduces the pressure slightly and we were able to safely achieve 3850 fps out of the 55's through two different rem 700 vssf's with 41.5g of 760.

Bullet jump, primer choice, brass choice are all critical when it comes to achieving tiny groups, so enjoy playing.

Work up to these loads in your rifle, and don't play stupid.

I used H414 in both a 22-250 and .220 Swift that I had. I used 52 gr. Sierra match bullets. I shot a number of sub 1/4" groups at 200 yds. with the Browning Varmint 22-250 and the .220 Remington Varmint (custom shop) shot aggregates of .150" at 100 yds. The powder is a little dirty but shoots great.

CCI magnum primers, remington cases, 38 grains of h414, and a 50 grain speer soft point flat based bullet. probably one of the best loads I have found.
