Facory ammo for savage axis 223?

What should i shoot through my savage axis as factory ammo? I beleive its a 1:12 twist. Would be for coyote hunting and dont have the option of reloading right now am saving up to do that.

40-60gr oughta work ok if you shoot em properly.

My brother's rifle shoots the cheap wolf steel case the best so far.This is the 55gr classic.

Try Fiocci or Hornady in the 50 round boxes.

I have a Savage Axis in .223 too. I've tried several different factory ammos and it doesn't really seem too picky but my best results have been with Hornady Superformance 53 gr VMax.

My Axis loves the Winchester Supreme 55gr ballistic silvertips. Only tried them on paper so far though.

I have got several good reloading recipes for mine in the 55-60gr area. I am sure that any decent factory ammo in the same grain area will do good.
