I got one of these for my new AR. I got to the range 2 weeks ago & finally got to try it out.

All I wanted to do with the rifle was get it on paper & then zeroed at 100 yards. I shot 3 rounds at a time, it caught 2 & knocked the 3rd down, so it didn't go far.

Today I got back to the range.

Went to do the JB paste breakin on the rifle.

5 rounds, it caught 4.

Clean, then 10 rounds. It caught all 10.

Clean then 20 rounds. I loaded 2 10 rounds mags. It caught all 10 rounds each (emptied between mags).

Seems to work better the more it gets used wink

I dont know if you could make it work on a mini 14 or not. I dont know anyone that has one to try it on. Sold mine years ago to get an AR. If it is the Ranch model and scoped, possibly might be able to make it work.

It works on an AR with a fixed handle, would be better with a longer bungee:

I like them shooting from a bench, too. Keeps me from having to chase brass & not picking up someone elses.

One of mine is dedicated to my mini-14 ranch rifle. It catches most of my brass and knocks the rest down so they land at my feet. I highly recommend them.

I also like using them off the bench, I'm sure my friends prefer me to use them too! Now they don't get pelted with brass, and they don't have to help pick up anymore.

Used mine this weekend while calling. Sure was nice not to have to chase brass.

I will have these at the PM convention again. The price there will be $10 for those buying them there.

Bought a few of these and finally had an opportunity to try 2 of them out this weekend. One is

attached to an AR15 the other to an AR10 .243 and they worked great on both. Shot 100 rds from

each rifle and this was the first time I recovered every piece of brass that I started with.

These will definitely pay for themselves over time. Thanks again Mark.
