Picking a scope for my new squirrel rifle

Zeiss Conquest 3x9 power. Works great on my 22's.

I have a Leupold 2-7 rim-fire scope on mine, looks just right on that trim little auto.

These are groups from my Savage MKII FV with Remington Thunderbolt ammo at 100 yards using Nikons spot on program and doping with Mildots. Both spreads were vertical top pic is just side ways.

Not a great tree squirrel scope but works great on ground squirrels.

roky0702 i put a Williams peep sight on my Mountie and i am very happy with it. If i was going to put a lower priced scope on any gun i would only get a fixed power rarely will the point of impact stay the same as you move through the powers on a cheap variable. Well that was my experience from years ago i just dont bother anymore buy a good variable or if i want to spend less a cheap fixed power.
