This year Predator Masters will be continuing our scholarship program. We will be offering two scholarships worth $500 each and two worth $1000 each.

One of the $1000 scholarships is awarded each year in memory of Raegan South, daughter of Byron and Lana South who passed away February 10, 2011.

We will also be awarding one of the $500 scholarship in memory of our friend and member, Thomas “Trashcan” Haynes, who left us much too soon in November 2012.

We have awarded a $500 scholarship in memory of Danny Batastini who passed away in 2009, and will continue to do so this year.

This year the scholarships will be awarded at the end of May.

Please read these rules carefully to be eligible.

You must be a contributing member of Predator Masters who is pursuing post high school education.
For this year a ‘contributing ‘ member will be one who posts at least 20 posts in 2013, before submitting their applications.

Deadline for submission of application is May, 25, 2013. At 12 midnight Mountain daylight time.

Along with the information below applicants will be required to submit an essay on one of the following topics.
Predator Hunting Contests….Pros and Cons.
Importance of Coyote Predation on Livestock.
Effect of coyotes as vectors for disease.

Applicants must be registered and provide documentation and a contact person, for the fall semester as a full time student at an accredited college or university or other educational facility.

The process is open to any student who meets the qualifications, but preference will be given to those enrolled in Wildlife management, forestry, animal sciences or related fields, as well as public service professions, such as Law enforcement, nursing, etc.
