We all like shooting pigs for DRT effects.

For night hunting, and head shots where do you zero your gun for those zero to 100 yard shots?

I zero both my 5.56mm and 7.62mm to bullseye POA=POI at 50 yards, and then fine tune a couple of clicks at 200 yards.

depends on caliber. My .243 and .223 are zero at 100 and good from close to 100yards. My 6.8 is zero at 50.

I use a maximum point blank range zero for a 4" target 223 60 gr V-max with my D760 nv I have a 3.5 sight over bore height. so I'm aprox 2" low at 25 yards -1" at 50 +.4 at 100 on at 200 and -2.2 at 250

YMMV this with my rifle

SO is that 4 inches high at 100 or .4 inches? Trying to get some more range out of my night rig...

It can my problem is that most of my shots are 200 yards to 300 yards

.4 on my gun have two 223 that shoot differently one require dead on at 50 and is 1.5 high at 100.

You really need to true and test on the range, the variables are to great

You are shooting 200-300 yards at night? If that is range of most of my shots, I would zero for 200 yards. You will be an inch or so hight at 100.
